Dr. Monica Rodriguez Monroig is an experienced Dentist Anesthesiologist born and raised in Puerto Rico. She graduated from Jacobi Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York after completing a three-year post doctoral anesthesia residency. Her anesthesiology training included medical rotations in cardiology, internal medicine, critical care and pain management at Columbia University. She provided anesthesia for pediatric and adult patients in both hospital and and clinics settings. Additionally, she provided anesthesia for special needs patients at Rose F. Kennedy Rehabilitation Center in New York.

Prior to her dental anesthesiology residency, Dr. Rodriguez Monroig completed a Master Degree in Public Health from the University of Puerto Rico. She worked for two years on Investigation Projects in the University of Puerto Rico as a health educator for pediatric population and Pharmacognosy professor in the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. She completed her doctoral degree in Dental Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico and is certified in Basic Life Support, Advance Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advance Life Support.
